William EDWARDS and John EDWARDS, brothers who attended the Pennlyn Quaker Meetings near Bala left for America in 1682/3 with their children. William married Jane ATKINSON (his 2nd marriage)and came to America with Katherine and Elizabeth. John left 1683 with children: Elizabeth, Sarah, Edward, Evan and a servant name Mary Hughes. William was a yeoman from Ucheldri, Nanntliediog and Cynlas and was sometimes called William BEDWARD. I hope someone recognizes these kin. Thanks for responding, Beth

My gg grandfather lived at Bryngelynen Croesor. His name was Charles Williams born 1837, his wife Margaret born 1843 & had 8 children. I am trying to find where they were born. My g grandmother told me that Bryngelynen was one of the first meeting places for the calvinistic methodist churches. I have a handmade leather notebook of music belonging to 'William Charles the son of William Charles his hand and his notebook Rhydyclafdy 1842' I find this most interesting as I know there were many hymn writers at that time. I would appreciate any information on Charles Williams & his forefathers from Rhydyclafdy. Thankyou Jane Purnell.
