| I visited in 1998 to trace my ancestors who have lived in Anglesey till 1930 I have traced them back as far as 1700. Thay lived in Pentraeth from 1800 till 1930 beofre that they lived in Tre’r Beirdd. My great, great grand parents were William Jones and Ann Williams who were married in Tre’r Beirdd in 1823 and moved to Pentraeth around 1830 to the farm Penrault,

| According to their archives, my GGGF, Richard Davies was killed in an accident on Feb.2.1842 at Penrhyn slate quarry. However there is no death certificate at the GRO in Southport. Caernarfon/Gwynedd Archives has not answered my email. has any one ideas how I can find his death certificate please?

| I've just had a "EUREEKA!". Found my Jane Jones married to John Jones (and of courses her father's name was John Jones as well!) out of ALL of Wales because my sister and I had an auditory memory of a word that sounded like "Abercassik"...well I found the river "Aber Caseg"....then a farm name in the '51, '61', '71 and '81 censuses for Bangor...Llanlechid. Now need help with '41 census check and also two references to titles in Welsh refering to Abercaseg in Unv. Bangor library. How could I pay someone to help me? Thanks, Jane

| Searching for Arthur Morgan. Was father of Alexander who was born around 1818 in Conwy. Alexander married in Paddington, London so don't know when, or why, he left Conwy. Was a farrier before marriage, then became a chimney sweep. His son Edward (my husband's grandfather) was also a chimney sweep in Islington, London. | Iam trying to trace two brothers who went to Australia from Llanberis. Owen Owen, Hafoty, who was born in 1859, I can't trace him but I have been told he went to Australia and might have a son called Roy. I know that Griffith Owen born 1871 went to Australia in 1892 on the ship Oroya, he was a miner. They also had a siter called Laura born 1866 and she was sent to America or Canada as an unmarried mother,she had a son and he was brought up in Hafoty, Llanberis, Wales and his name was Geroge Arthur Owen born 1900. I would love to find out about the borthers, my grandmother was their sister Ellen born in 1875. They had another brother called William Owen who stayed in this area, one son called Wynn Owen who mover to Shirley in Birmingham, but that is all I know about him.
